Attracting and retaining staff

Staff retention was slightly below the industry average in 2019/20 – with 85 per cent of new staff members staying for at least 12 months (against a target of 90 per cent), and 92 per cent staying for at least two years (against a target of 85 per cent). Voluntary turnover for 2019/20 was 15.3 per cent.
