SBS and Department of Foreign Affairs ‘Multicultural Australia’ roundtable
In November 2018, SBS and the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade partnered to host a ‘Multicultural Australia’ roundtable as part of the Australian Government’s Soft Power Review. The conversation, hosted at SBS, examined ways in which Australia can impact global policy through communicating Australian culture and ideas.
The roundtable brought together guests from organisations representing settlement services, youth advocacy, mentorship and the arts, and drew on diverse Australian perspectives from a broad cross-section of the community, including multicultural leaders who build Australia’s soft power every day.
