I am pleased to submit the National Transport Commission’s (NTC) Annual Report for the year ended 30 June 2021.

This document reports on our activities in the 2020–21 financial year. It has been prepared in accordance with the National Transport Commission Act 2003 (Cwlth).

Furthermore, in accordance with section 46 of the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 (Cwlth), I confirm that I hold responsibility for preparing and providing this report to the Hon Barnaby Joyce MP, who is the minister responsible for the NTC.

I also confirm that I approved this report on 6 September 2021 by authorising it for print.

This annual report marks a significant year of delivery and achievement for the NTC. On behalf of my fellow commissioners, I acknowledge NTC staff and management on their dedication and resolve during another challenging year due to COVID-19 restrictions.
