I, as the accountable authority of the Murray–Darling Basin Authority, present the 2019–20 annual performance statement, as required under the Commonwealth Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 (PGPA Act) (paragraph 39(1) (a)).

In my opinion, this annual performance statement is based on properly maintained records, accurately reflects the performance of the entity, and complies with the PGPA Act (subsection 39(2)).
