• resolving unfair dismissal claims
• resolving workplace bullying claims
• dealing with general protections claims
• setting the national minimum wage
• creating, reviewing and varying modern awards
• approving enterprise agreements
• assisting the bargaining process for enterprise agreements
• assisting with the prevention and resolution of industrial disputes
• determining applications for right of entry permits.
