About our performance statements

These performance statements report on our performance in the year ended 30 June 2019, assessed against the purposes and measures published in our revised 2018–19 Corporate Plan and 2018–19 Portfolio Budget Statements (PBS). This is in accordance with subsection 16F(1) of the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Rule 2014 (PGPA Rule).

The structure of these statements reflects our corporate plan as shown in Structure of our performance statements. Portfolio Budget Statements mapped to information in these statements identifies where performance information is located and assessed in accordance with the method set out in the 2018–19 PBS.

In accordance with the Department of Finance’s instructions in Resource Management Guide No. 135: Annual Report for Non-corporate Commonwealth Entities, these statements focus on the results of our activities. Activities are presented elsewhere in this report as Highlights and in the Secretary's review.
