Mr Skala has a distinguished career of service on the boards of public, private, not-for-profit and government organisations, with more than 35 years’ experience in the law, business and banking. Mr Skala is also Deutsche Bank Vice Chairman, Australia, and served as a partner focusing on corporate, banking and commercial law in two leading Australian law firms for more than 20 years. A former Chairman of Film Australia Ltd, Hexima Ltd, the King Island Food Company Ltd and Wilson Group Ltd, Mr Skala is also a former Director and Acting Chairman of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, the Channel Ten Group and Max Capital Group Ltd. Mr Skala currently Chairs the Heide Museum of Modern Art, is Deputy Chair of the General Sir John Monash Foundation, a Director of The Centre for Independent Studies, and a Member of the International Council of the Museum of Modern Art NYC. In his diverse career, Mr Skala has also served on the ANZAC Centenary Advisory Board; the Business Working Group; the Australian Business Deans’ Council; Finance Standards for Australian Higher Education; the Australian Innovation Research Centre; the Australian Ballet and the Australian Centre for Contemporary Art. Ms Bond is one of Australia's leading engineers and has extensive experience in the water and energy sectors in Queensland and the Northern Territory. Her distinguished 30-year executive career covers general management, engineering projects and professional services across a broad range of industrial sectors including leadership roles at board and senior management level in water, energy, power, oil and gas, minerals and postgraduate education. Ms Bond has been a company director for the past 15 years, and. serves on the Boards of Snowy Hydro Limited; Synertec Corporation Limited (Chair); Liquefied Natural Gas Limited; JKTech Pty Ltd and QADO Services Pty Ltd. Ms Bond has held a variety of senior positions at Worley Parsons, including General Manager (Queensland, the Northern Territory and Papua New Guinea), where she negotiated project alliances and supervised contracts and projects with many Australian and international companies, prior to starting Breakthrough Energy Pty Ltd in 2006. In addition to her active board portfolio, Ms Bond is Executive for Diversity and Inclusion for the Downer’s Mining, Energy and Industrial division and sponsors a scholarship for a female undergraduate student at the University of Queensland. |
